I specialise in commercial and advertising, photographing people, food, drinks and products. For more than 30 years I’ve been working with advertising agencies, designers, brand managers, marketing teams and directly with clients to deliver high quality images and video. In recent years my love of food and drink has brought a varied and exciting range of people and briefs to the studio. I’ve been lucky enough to shoot award winning campaigns all over the globe, but my heart and my studio is right here in Dublin

WHAT’S NEW
My new site is designed to show you a range of styles across a wide repertoire, but with the focus always on storytelling and impactful visuals. As the industry has evolved and technology has advanced I’ve embraced every new shift, but some things has stayed the same; I absolutely love what I do and still believe in the power of great visual communication. From long time loyal clients to the fresh faced teams I’ve just met, it’s the energy of passionate collaborators that keeps the work exciting.
MY APPROACH
With every brief I will always look for something new and relevant to contribute. I’ve always believed that to make an image memorable, it has to connect. For me lighting is the key to that, creating tone and mood that communicate a feeling, even without words. Whether that’s the everyday appeal of ambient daylight, or the complexity and drama which cinematic lighting brings, each subject and story needs a unique and nuanced approach.

Each member of the team is valued and encouraged to contribute what they do best. This always shows in the final work delivered. Whether we’re shooting in my Dublin city centre studio [which is fully equipped with a prep kitchen and props library] or out on location, the goal is always the same, have a bit of fun while creating something world class.
